After 60 years at their original location, Robar Industries had outgrown their base of operations and made the decision to invest in a larger, brand new, modern facility in Surrey’s Campbell Heights industrial area.
Project Consultant Kristeen and Robar started discussions regarding their racking needs approximately 1 year prior to Robar’s new building being completed.
Project Consultant Kristeen’s proposal to Robar met and exceeded the weight capacity Robar needed to achieve from its new Selective Pallet Racking. Additionally Project Consultant Kristeen’s proposal was also able to achieve Robars desired number of pallet positions and their desired warehouse layout as well as meeting Robar’s desired lead time. Robar accepted Project Consultant Kristeen’s proposal and materials were ordered.
As the building at Robar’s new location and its Tenant Improvements were approaching completion, RACKsteel’s Installation Manager conducted the standard Pre-Installation Site Meeting with Project Consultant Kristeen and the Site Superintendent.
During the Pre-Installation Meeting Robar expressed the need for Row End Guards to protect the racking at the high-traffic locations in their warehouse. The addition of custom safety products is a simple request to accommodate, as RACKsteel has the ability to fabricate numerous products in-house and on-demand. Project Consultant Kristeen took measurements for the custom Row End Guards and RACKsteel started fabrication.
