Remember when you are planning a new facility with a concrete slab, get it reviewed with RACKsteel engineering partners to ensure your slab will be suitable for the proposed pallet racking system. Don’t assume that a typical slab will be adequate for your racking requirements. After the slab is poured, or if you are taking over an existing building, it’s best for you to get the slab analyzed by an engineer to outline your maximum potential capacity.
