This client has a combilift with specific dimensions and was asking us to design and install a guardrail along both sides of a cantilever we have supplied and installed in the past.
We manufactured this custom guard rail in-house by taking the right measurements of every single leg on over 120 feet of distance.
Once measurements were taken, we took the raw material and started cutting and customizing to make it work for their needs. Once all the holes were drilled and all the customization was completed, we started painting.
For the end pieces, we took raw steel and bent it to make them round as per the needs of accessing the aisles. We welded baseplates and reinforcements to ensure it had the ability to withstand impacts. We proceeded with a turnkey installation during off hours to avoid downtime.
We utilized our industry leading Hilti tools, such as laser levels and hammer drills with vacuum attachments, to ensure our client that installation would be quick and safe. This guide rail is robust and will easily meet the needs of protecting the racking and ensuring the combilift can pick the goods effectively
