On this project, one of RACKsteel’s customers in the fenestration industry approached us to install heavy duty cantilever racking for their raw materials.
This was a large and complex installation, which also included a custom guard-rail with extremely tight tolerances for the customers state of the art forklift.
The complexity of this installation came from the size and weight of the cantilever racking and its components, combined with completing the assembly and installation in the middle of a fully operational manufacturing facility. RACKsteel utilized one of its teams of skilled installers, in combination with a team of Ironworkers to bring this project to completion safely, accurately and efficiently. This project presented some challenges which required on-site fabrication to the cantilever racking, as well as some custom fabrication of racking components in our shop.
