Drive-in/drive-thru pallet racking systems allow for the most efficient storage capacity. Think of this system as pallet in and pallet out where each full lane is dedicated to a certain SKU. Forklifts would drive into the rack structure to access and pick the pallets the same way they would drive in and load the pallets. It does not use conventional cross beams, but tunnels with rail guide lanes.
