RACKsteel is fully committed to accessibility. Our programs and initiatives support the removal of barriers that will liberate the potential of people with disabilities including the deaf, hard of hearing community. We are committed to treating all people in a way that allows them to maintain their dignity and independence.

Access to Employment 

We have implemented policies and tools to enrich our best practices in the recruitment, orientation, and retention of people of all abilities. Our team developed a Workplace Inclusion Policy which is in accordance with Bill 6 – 2021 Accessible British Columbia Act and BC Accessibility Legislation. Approximately 50% of our workforce identify as people with a disability and our office facilities are accessible and follow Universal Design guidelines.  

Accessible Communication

RACKsteel is committed to continually ensuring all our communications are accessible for people of all abilities. We strive to ensure the our website is WCAG 2.0 compliant by partnering with website accessibility consultants including people with disabilities to create an inclusive digital experience for all customers, regardless of ability.
