This project was one of the largest projects that RACKsteel was awarded to install in 2022.The project occurred in a newly developed facility that was still under construction and was given a timeframe of 3 months to complete.
Our Project Sales Consultant Stuart began talking with this customer in August. They had acquired a new warehouse space that needed racking installed as soon as possible so they could move in and get organized.
Oxford Builders, a local full-service construction equipment and maintenance supplier engaged Racksteel to install heavy duty pallet racking at their main yard. This project presented 2 unique engineering challenges, the installation was to occur in an outdoor environment as well as being located in a flood plain.

This customer first contacted us in March of 2021. We went back and forth with quotes and ideas and then our Project Sales Consultant Kristeen joined us in May 2021 and she met with them on site and provided thorough information and measurements.
Kris met this customer during a cold call at the beginning of April. The customer was organized and had a very good idea what he wanted. Together they put together a layout drawing and a quote followed shortly after.
