Welcome to RACKsteel Material Handling
A fantastic example of double deep pallet racking done by the RACKsteel Material Handling team. Even in a competitive bid situation, we were able to propose a significant value case by recommending a quick-ship solution engineered to work. We developed a phased-approach to supply, install, and ensure GLB were able to get operating quickly considering the speed at which they acquired this space. Our installers first laid out the space, considered the building obstacles, and helped create a project plan to install safety in a busy warehouse environment. In consultation with a forklift expert, we ensured their selected forklift worked ideally with the double-deep row spacers, beam levels, and spacing.
This facility expanded the square footage of its warehouse and called us to relocate existing racking and add more material to the overall plan. Their needs for palletized storage have increased over the recent months and we were able to offer a solution. We quoted this project in phases to ultimately ensure it was successful:
Phase 1 – Teardown
Our in-house install team took down 64 uprights total with a total of 580 beams and wire decks.
Phase 2 – Installation
After cutting all anchors flush to the ground and leaving all floors cleaned, we relocated all material inside the same warehouse but in a different storage area. We installed 2 runs of double deep sections and 4 double deep sections and replaced damaged material.
Communication between installers, the customer, and our customer service department was fully active making the project go smoothly and with no difficulties. With our quick lead time and installation personal, we are able to get clients operating to their full capacity quickly and effectively.
Our customer service philosophy is simple: We will make sure every call and email is prioritized, and that your warehouse gets operating faster.
