PALLET RACKING DESIGN

Our in-house drafting department will start by understanding your storage goals alongside our sales department. It is a collaborative approach to ensure we get you, the client, an approved layout ready for engineering and installation. Our AutoCAD drawings and 3D presentations will allow you to make a confident decision on the final racking layout to meet your goals.

STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING

Our 3rd party industry leading partners will give you unbiased results and ensure your drawings accurately reflect your site location, slab, and geotechnical information. With numerous partners in the industry working alongside RACKsteel, you’ll be in good hands getting your pallet racking engineered for use. Remember, we have different rack products ready to ship depending on your engineered requirements.

CONCRETE SLAB AND GEOTECHNICAL

Remember when you are planning a new facility with a concrete slab, get it reviewed with RACKsteel engineering partners to ensure your slab will be suitable for the proposed pallet racking system. Don’t assume that a typical slab will be adequate for your racking requirements. After the slab is poured, or if you are taking over an existing building, it’s best for you to get the slab analyzed by an engineer to outline your maximum potential capacity.

PALLET RACK PERMITTING

It’s best to plan the permit process ahead of time to account for processing lead times at City Hall. Permits are required by the City to ensure you are meeting the current safety standards in your company. They are certain processes and paperwork to plan that vary across provinces and municipalities.

RACKING INSPECTIONS

Inspections are an important aspect of your operation to look out for damage or if you are exploring an upgrade to your current system. Relocating?
