Double deep or “deep reach” pallet racking offers a better way to store and pick many SKU’s with the added benefit of more robust storage capacity. It uses the same components in most cases as regular single selective racking, which removes the need to plan for extra long lead times. Note the pallets that are placed in the 2nd depth will require a deep reach truck to access it. Storage capability is increased with the ability to store 2 of the same SKU’s in the same pick face lane.
