Nanak Foods

We started talking to Nanak Foods in March 2022.

He had just secured a new warehouse in Surrey. His desired timeframe for installation was the 3rd week of May 2022.

He gave us his ideas for a layout and our design team incorporated them into a layout plan and a preliminary engineering review began.

The customer came to meet with us at our office. Together we revised the layout to his specifications and budgetary pricing was quoted in April 2022.

We were the last company he contacted, and he considered several other companies’ quotes. In the end, our lead time was the quickest and at the end of April, we were awarded the job.

Engineering did come back and advise a thicker beam was needed to meet his capacity requirements. This beam was not in stock, and we were forthcoming that an order would have to be placed.

We were able to work with them on their priority areas and we have installed the first phase of racking in the freezer area. We are planning the second phase based on the material arrival timeframe.

The customer was very happy with our installation team. They worked very hard and quickly adapted to a few changes that were made while on-site and the freezer was completed in 3 days, much faster than our 5 day expectation!
