RACKsteel’s existing customer, Menzies Metal Products, contacted us with 2 needs. The first need was the purchase and installation of brand new, 24′ tall, heavy-duty pallet racking for their brand new location. Menzies Metal Products’ second need was the relocation of over 200 bays of existing pallet racking from their temporary location, to their new permanent home. It was imperative that Menzies Metal Products remain fully operational during the relocation.
RACKsteel and Menzies Metal Products worked together to develop a 4 phase installation and relocation plan that allowed Menzies to remain fully operational, while quickly and efficiently completing the relocation. As the relocation materialized, Menzies Metal Products saw areas in their new location they wanted to better utilize than was originally planned. RACKsteel’s in-house engineer was able to engineer and approve the requested changes quickly. RACKsteel sourced and procured the specialty parts required to complete the requested change, with no delays to the relocation deadline.
