Sales
• Sales of our core product line: pallet racking equipment and shelving systems
• Communicate with leads & new prospects by scheduling site visits to determine their current or future needs
• Create relationships, expand existing relationships, and continuously build a book of business
• Provide in-person consulting to a customer on their project, offer suitable racking solutions
• Set expectations clearly on lead time for the installation, material, permits, and engineering. Keep track of all interactions with clients, take accurate notes and capture information through the CRM system
• Provide simple sketches of customer warehouse layouts and needed racking system
• Be attentive to details and ensure quote accuracy
• Take on special sales projects when asked
• Make sure customer needs are met
• Respond to customers in a timely manner
• Provide excellent customer service
Project Management Support Process
• Act as a primary contact for the client in managing expectations, ensuring the work-site is clear and ready, ensuring the proper materials are submitted for order, and ensuring the operations team is well equipped and prepared for the project
• Work closely with our Operations and Account Manager to ensure successful project implementation and customer satisfaction
• Organize joint site visits when required
• Pay site visits to job site during installation to make sure successful project completion
5+ years sales experience (industrial sales experience an asset)
1 – 2 years experience in Customer Service
Experience in CRM required
Must have a valid driver’s license
Proven track record of developing new business
Advanced presentation skills & communication skills
